Immigration Law Institute (EDAM)
The Immigration Law Institute is a non-profitt organization of lawyers practicing exclusively in the field of the Greek immigration and nationality law. The Institute's objectives are to carry on studies and conducts researches on immigration law issues, to elaborate scientifically those issues and to provide an extensive range of information and resources to support lawyers, immigration practinioners, public and private entities who conduct and advocate the immigration policy, and the society in general.
To achieve these goals the members of the Institute are collaborating closely with specialized experts from Greece and abroad. Committed to its objectives and recognizing the challenges faced by the legal practitioners, the Institute serves the publication of specialized journals,books, newsletters, articles and compact disks; organizes workshops and seminars and provides 'on-line' information and assistance. Those activities facilitate and promote the exchange of knowledge and experience between the law professionals in order to update, develop and enhance their practical and theoretical knowledge in all areas of immigration practice and further lay the ongoing professional and fruitful dialogue with the repesentatives of the governmental and administrative bodies and the civil society.
